New England Real Estate ‘Coach’ Charged for Defrauding Investors

A real estate developer pleaded guilty and agreed to pay back investors who lost more than $3 million through a scheme she carried out involving properties in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Robynne Alexander told investors she would purchase, renovate, and sell properties for a profit, but instead she used their money to pay fictitious returns to other investors and projects and to cover personal expenses, the SEC alleged in a complaint filed Thursday in the US District Court for the District of New Hampshire.
