Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with US Securities and Exchange Commission Chair Paul Atkins in Jerusalem on Sunday, the PM’s office says.

  • The two discussed the possibility of promoting a mechanism of mutual recognition in the registration of securities
  • The program is expected to make it easier for Israeli companies traded in Tel Aviv to register for trading in the US as well, while reducing regulatory duplication and streamlining reporting procedures
