Former SEC commissioners are urging the agency to require companies to publicly disclose how they classify and pay their employees.
The Securities and Exchange Commission should require statistics on full-time, part-time and contingent workers, as well as details on their salaries and other compensation, former SEC Commissioners Robert Jackson and Joseph Grundfest and others said in a petition posted on the agency’s website Thursday.
