Micron Tech’s Alleged Lack of Diversity Draws Shareholder Suit

Micron Technology Inc. allegedly touted its commitment to improving diversity despite not having a single Black director on its board or making “meaningful” strides toward a more representative workforce, a shareholder says in federal court in Delaware.

The technology company publicly promoted its diversity efforts, but its leadership’s failure to meaningfully improve minority representation since 2018 shows that “these are hollow words,” according to a shareholder derivative lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
