Meta Beats Investor Suit Over iOS Change, Sandberg Compensation

Meta Platforms Inc. beat a lawsuit alleging it falsely reassured investors about the impact of privacy changes to Apple Inc.’s iOS software and hid former Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg’s use of corporate resources for her personal benefit.

Various statements investors pointed to weren’t false, wouldn’t have misled them, or concerned press reports about issues Meta is still investigating, a federal judge said Tuesday. The complaint also included allegations related to Meta’s short-form video offering, Reels.
