A friend of former NFL linebacker Mychal Kendricks must face criminal charges in an insider trading case connected to the athlete and an ex-Goldman Sachs Group Inc. analyst, after a federal judge found the allegations adequate to proceed.
Federal prosecutors produced a “legally sufficient” indictment alleging Mark Wayne Ramsey traded on inside information in a scheme with Kendricks and former Goldman analyst Damilare Sonoiki, Judge Gene Pratter of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania ruled Sept. 17.
