Elizabeth Prewitt, a lead prosecutor in the U.S. criminal investigations into the rigging of currency and interest-rate benchmarks, has left government to join law firm Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP.
Prewitt, an assistant chief with the Justice Department’s antitrust division, will handle cartel defense work as a partner in the firm’s New York office, according to a statement today.
