A lawyer who spent 14 months in prison for securities fraud was reinstated to the practice of law by the Wisconsin Supreme Court Nov. 8 (Office of Lawyer Regulation v. Kranitz, 2016 BL 371934, Wis., No. 2013AP2128-D, 11/8/16).
Voting unanimously, the justices said Richard A. Kranitz deserved to re-enter the profession 28 months after he was suspended from practice as a result of his felony conviction for conspiracy to commit securities fraud.
