Latham & Watkins Hires CFTC Chief Trial Attorney

Latham & Watkins LLP has hired a Commodity Futures Trading Commission chief trial attorney who spent five years at the agency and oversaw one of its most high-profile recent cases.

Douglas Yatter, a Georgetown University Law Center graduate, has joined the firm’s New York office as a member of the White Collar Defense and Investigations Practice Group, Latham said in a release. He also will be a member of its Financial Institutions and Energy—Oil and Gas Industry Groups.
