Jefferies Hires JPMorgan’s Naydenova to Lead Americas FIG M&A

Jefferies Financial Group Inc. has hired investment banker Nina Naydenova as head of financial institutions mergers and acquisitions in the Americas, according to a person familiar with the matter.

Naydenova, most recently a managing director at JPMorgan Chase & Co., will join Jefferies this week and will be based in New York, said the person, who requested anonymity because the move hasn’t been made public. She will report to Chris Roop who runs Americas M&A, the person said.

Representatives for Jefferies and JPMorgan declined to comment.
