HP Fights Off Investors’ Revenue Prediction Model Allegations

HP Inc. is free of accusations it made misleading statements about its revenue estimation model after a federal judge in California found investors’ allegations insufficient and dismissed the suit with prejudice.

Investors accuse the technology company of misleading them about the accuracy and reliability of a model intended to predict sales revenue. Their would-be class complaint didn’t properly allege HP misled them or acted intentionally, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California said.
