Greece’s markets regulator filed a lawsuit against FF Group officials, a month on from a report questioning the company’s reach that plunged it into crisis, after the retailer failed to provide data on its financial health.
The Hellenic Capital Markets Commission said in a statement that it filed the lawsuit against board members and financial officials at Folli Follie and its Asian unit on Tuesday. The lawsuit concerns the company’s failure to provide assurances concerning its cash balances that the regulator had asked for, according to a person familiar with the matter who asked not to be named.
