US tax and consulting firm Grant Thornton Advisors LLC has completed a deal to create a new cross-Atlantic firm by combining with the network’s affiliate in Ireland.
Financial terms of the combination were not disclosed but the US firm’s private equity owners backed the deal announced in October. The newly combined entity’s US and Irish audit practices will operate as independent partnerships.
“This is a transformative step as we become the destination of choice for clients and talent alike,” Seth Siegel, CEO of Grant Thornton Advisors, said in a statement Friday.
