Gogo Must Face Investor Suit on In-Flight Wi-Fi Reliability

Gogo Inc. lost its bid to end a would-be class suit alleging it misled investors about problems with its in-flight Wi-Fi products after a federal judge in Illinois rejected its motion to dismiss Monday.

The latest investor complaint sufficiently alleges that the connectivity company fraudulently made misleading statements about its then-new antenna-and-satellite-based in-flight Wi-Fi system, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois said. The court in 2019 rejected an earlier complaint, but gave the investors a chance to try again.
