The wife of a former venture capital fund manager targeted in an SEC fraud case was held in contempt of court for using divorce proceedings to interfere with the orderly disposition of assets.
She must pay a court-appointed receiver the amount of attorneys’ fees he spent to fight her $88 million alimony and child support request, later reduced to $36 million, Judge Vernon D. Oliver said Monday for the US District Court for the District of Connecticut.
