Sean McKessy, who recently stepped down as inaugural chief of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Office of the Whistleblower (48 SRLR 1428, 7/18/16See previous story, 07/11/16, 132 SLD, 7/11/16, 132 CARE, 7/11/16), is joining whistle-blower law firm Phillips & Cohen LLP in its Washington office.
The office has awarded approximately $100 million—most of it under McKessy’s tenure—since the program’s inception in 201135 DER EE-1, 2/22/11, 35 Securities Law Daily, 2/22/11.
