The former chief executive officer of Salix Pharmaceuticals Ltd. is suing the company and its parent, Bausch Health Cos. Inc., to recover stock awards she says were wrongfully denied.
Carolyn J. Logan, who led Salix from 2002 through 2014, was awarded $32.7 million in stock before Salix was sold to Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc., which later renamed itself Bausch. In a lawsuit filed Jan. 28, she said she never received the awards.
Along with the stock or its cash value, Logan also wants the company to reimburse her for legal fees, according to a complaint in Delaware Chancery court.
