Ex-R.R. Donnelley Workers Seek Class of 16,000 in 401(k) Lawsuit

Two former employees of communications and printing firm R.R. Donnelley & Sons Inc. who sued the company over its retirement plan fees asked a federal judge in Chicago to certify the case as a 16,000-person class action.

The case challenges “standardized conduct” toward all proposed class members, including the company’s selection and monitoring of its 401(k) plan record keeper and the disclosures it made to plan participants about the fees they were paying, plaintiffs Michael W.
