Two former New York lawyers agreed to pay the SEC just under $29,000 to resolve allegations they were part of a scheme to evade restrictions on selling PixarBio Corp. stock, according to Massachusetts federal district court filings.
Frederick Mintz and Alan Fraade also agreed to injunctions preventing them from providing “professional legal services” to anyone seeking similar help securing registration exemptions, the Securities and Exchange Commission said in a proposed final judgment filed July 30 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
