David Woodcock, formerly director of the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Fort Worth Regional Office and chair of the agency’s Financial Reporting and Audit Task Force, will join Jones Day in its Dallas and Houston offices in late June as a partner in the firm’s Securities Litigation and SEC Enforcement Practice.
Woodcock announced his departure from the SEC in April 47 SRLR 845, 4/27/15, 76 SLD, 4/21/15—one of a number of high-level officials to step down in recent months. He was succeeded on an acting basis by associate regional directors Marshall Gandy and David Peavler.
