Enovix Nixes Investor Claims Over Battery Factory Equipment

Enovix Corp. convinced a federal judge to reverse course and trim some misrepresentation allegations from a proposed class action by stockholders over the battery producer’s first commercial manufacturing plant in light of new information.

Judge Susan Illston granted the Enovix’s motion for partial judgment Tuesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of California, dismissing with prejudice claims linked to two statements by the company’s chief executive plaintiffs cited in the lawsuit after considering contextual information the company provided.
