Dow Chemical Co. settled lawsuits by a former company fraud investigator who claimed she was wrongfully fired for uncovering improper spending by Chief Executive Officer Andrew Liveris and others (Wood v. Dow Chem. Co., E.D. Mich., No. 14-cv-13049, settlement reported).
Dow and Kimberly C. Wood agreed to a settlement of her claims, Rachelle Schikorra, a Dow spokeswoman, said by phone Feb. 9. The accord was initially reported Feb. 6 on the website of abc12.com, which said the terms were confidential.
