Disqualification Order Against Director Lengthened Under High Court Decision

In Ong Chow Hong (alias Ong Chaw Ping) v Public Prosecutor and another appeal [2011] SGHC 93, Mr. Ong Chow Hong @ Ong Chaw Ping (“Ong”) appealed to the Singapore High Court against a disqualification order barring him from taking part in the management of any company for one year. He had been charged and convicted by the Singapore District Court for failing to exercise reasonable diligence in the discharge of his director’s duties as a director of Airocean Group Limited (“Airocean”).
