Dentsply, Execs Must Face Investors’ Securities Fraud Class Suit

Dentsply Sirona Inc. and two of its officers must face investors’ class claims that they were mislead about the financial health of the company during the Covid-19 pandemic, a federal court said.

The investors’ lawsuit sufficiently stated fraud claims against Dentsply—a multibillion-dollar company that manufactures dental products—-its chief executive officer Donald M. Casey Jr., and chief financial officer Jorge Gomez, Judge Arun Subramanian said for the US District Court for the Southern District of New York on Wednesday.
