Dentsply Sirona Inc. allegedly lured low-income customers into getting invisible teeth straighteners they didn’t medically need, causing the stock’s largest single-day free fall after suspending sales, a proposed class action said.
Dentsply and current and former executives touted rising demand for its Byte aligners, especially among low-income people, after its 2020 acquisition of Byte, said the suit filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York on Wednesday.
