Crypto Firm to Stop Trading in US Markets to Resolve SEC Suit

A United Arab Emirates cryptocurrency firm caught in an FBI “wash trading” sting operation won’t operate in the US market anymore and will pay more than $428,000 to settle Securities and Exchange Commission claims.

CLS Global FZC LLC will pay a $425,000 civil penalty and disgorge $3,000, after the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts approves the consent motion for final judgment filed Tuesday.
