Coty Investors Get Lead Plaintiff for Kylie Jenner Merger Suit

Coty Inc. investors who accused the beauty company of misleading them about its evaluation procedures ahead of two major acquisitions secured a lead plaintiff for their would-be class suit in federal court in New York.

The investors alleged that Coty lacked adequate processes and procedures to avoid overpaying for Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics and Proctor & Gamble’s specialty beauty business. Investor Susan Nock will take on the lead plaintiff role, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York said.
