Columbia Care Joins Parade of Billion-Dollar U.S. Pot Listings

Columbia Care Inc., a $1.4 billion medical cannabis company with operations in the U.S. and Europe, will begin trading on a little-known Canadian exchange April 29.

The New York-based company, which has operations in 14 U.S. states and territories plus Malta, will list on Toronto’s NEO Exchange under the symbol CCHW. The listing comes after Canaccord Genuity Growth Corp., a special purpose acquisition company, bought Columbia Care in a transaction valued at $1.35 billion. SPACs, are they’re known, raise money via an initial public offering for the purpose of acquiring an existing company.
