The deal represents at least 30% of the plan participants’ maximum estimated damages and requires the uniform maker to look for a new 401(k) plan recordkeeper within the next five years. Judge Jeffery P. Hopkins of the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio signed the final approval order Tuesday.
Hopkins also certified the case as a nationwide class action. The Cintas workers’ request for attorneys’ fees and expenses “remains under advisement,” the judge said.
