CFTC Whistleblower Chief Named Agency’s Top Enforcement Watchdog

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission’s top enforcement job will go to Brian Young, the former head of the regulator’s whistleblower office, the agency announced Friday.

“He is a fearless leader that will build an even more impressive enforcement program that will stay true to the CFTC’s mission to protect the American public from fraudsters and scammers,” Acting CFTC Chairman Caroline Pham said in a statement.
