CFTC to Review Employee Time and Attendance Compliance

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission announced a review of staff compliance with time and attendance requirements, following a senator’s questions about an ex-employee who allegedly worked remotely from foreign locales in violation of government policies.

“The CFTC is committed to taking necessary corrective actions, and we owe it to the public to uncover the extent to which the American taxpayers were defrauded,” acting Chairman Caroline Pham said in a statement on Friday.
