CFTC Taps Ex-Prosecutor, ‘Billions’ Adviser for Enforcement (1)

US Commodity Futures Trading Commission Chairman Michael Selig has tapped an ex-federal prosecutor and former technical adviser to the drama series Billions to lead the agency’s division in charge of policing the derivatives market.

David Miller has been a litigation shareholder at Greenberg Traurig in New York since 2019, where he has represented hedge funds, broker dealers and crypto businesses. He will join the CFTC as enforcement director on March 2, the agency said.
