Canadian Man Charged With Fraud Targeting Investors on Discord

A Canadian man who gained a following on Discord was hit with US enforcement actions alleging he raised tens of millions from investors through false claims about returns and his credentials.

Nathan Gauvin operated the schemes through his companies—Blackridge LLC, Gray Digital Capital Management USA LLC, and Gray Digital Technologies LLC—from March 2022 to March 2025, the Securities and Exchange Commission said in a complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
