California’s first-in-the-nation requirement for women on corporate boards is facing another discrimination lawsuit.
The suit, filed Nov. 13 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California by a shareholder of a company in the state, adds to legal concerns surrounding the law. The plaintiff is represented by the libertarian Pacific Legal Foundation.
