Binance Met With Treasury Officials Last Month, WSJ Says

Binance executives met with officials from the Treasury Department in March to discuss a loosening of US oversight on it, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing unidentified people familiar with the talks.

The crypto exchange wanted the removal of a US monitor that oversees its compliance with anti-money-laundering laws, the paper said, adding that a successful outcome could mark an initial step to Binance returning to the US market.
