Unilever, which owns Ben & Jerry’s, was sued over allegations that it improperly handled the ice cream company’s plans to boycott Israel.
Shareholders brought a proposed class action against Unilever Plc on Wednesday in a Manhattan federal court, arguing that the company misled investors by hiding the boycott decision and mischaracterizing the news when it was announced.
