Apple Investors Want Class Status in China iPhone Demand Suit

Apple Inc. investors who say the company misled them about declining demand for iPhones in China asked a federal judge in California for permission to pursue their securities claims as a class.

The proposed class includes everyone who acquired the technology company’s publicly traded securities from Nov. 2, 2018, through Jan. 2, 2019, inclusive, with some exceptions for people with close ties to Apple, according to the class certification motion filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
