AmTrust Financial Investors Win Class Status for Delisting Suit

AmTrust Financial Services Inc. investors may move forward as a group with allegations that the company misled them about preferred stock delisting after a federal judge in New York certified their class Thursday.

Individual investor Jan Martínek will serve as class representative in the suit alleging the insurance company misled holders of its preferred stock about whether the securities would remain listed on the New York Stock Exchange following a go-private merger, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York said.
