White House Renominates Laihow to OSHA Decision Review Panel

The panel that reviews Occupational Safety and Health Administration citations could regain its quorum following the White House’s announcement Monday of plans to nominate Amanda Wood Laihow for a second term.

Laihow had filled one of the three seats on the US Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission until April 27, when her term ended. If confirmed by the Senate, she would serve a term ending in April 2029.

Laihow previously indicated she was interested in serving a second term. Commission Chair Cynthia Attwood said she had “wonderful working relationship” with Laihow.
