Tyson’s Rehearing Request in Covid-19 Worker Deaths Case Denied

Tyson Foods Inc.’s request for a federal appeals court reconsideration of a decision that went against the meatpacker in a Covid-19 death case was rejected Tuesday.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit denied Tyson’s petition for an “en banc” hearing by the circuit’s judges and also denied a request for a rehearing by the three-judge panel that ruled against Tyson. The order didn’t explain the court’s reasons for the denials.
