The federal agency overseeing research on worker safety and health would be reorganized and see large cuts to its funding under the Trump administration’s proposed budget released Feb. 12.
The National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health would become a part of the National Institutes of Health, moving from its current home as a component of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, if Congress were to agree to the Trump administration’s budget request.
