A tree trimmer’s electrocution death has led Virginia authorities to propose a $272,169 fine against a landscaping company.
Facing the fine is Donnie Jenkins Jr. Tree & Landscaping Service of Culpeper, Va., according to citations released Dec. 3 by the Virginia Department of Labor and Industry. The department oversees occupational safety and health enforcement in the state.
The company couldn’t be reached for comment.
