Resin Maker Reichhold Cleared of Asbestos Claims

Resin maker Reichhold Inc. is off the hook for asbestos exposure claims after the Delaware Supreme Court affirmed dismissal (Jamesson v. Reichhold Inc., 2017 BL 166706, Del., No. 219, 2016, 5/18/17).

A former worker and the estate of another worker failed to show that exposure Reichhold’s products at an Iowa manufacturing plant caused their mesothelioma, the court said.

There was not enough evidence that Michael Jamesson and Roger Gordon were exposed to Reichhold’s asbestos-containing products while working for an electrical equipment manufacturer, the court affirmed.
