Heat stress citations issued by OSHA to the US Postal Service after four inspections have been vacated by a federal panel.
While the Occupational Safety and Health Administration proved that postal workers faced heat stress dangers, the agency didn’t meet its burden to identify specific and affordable measures that the Postal Service could have taken to reduce the heat hazards, the panel said.
