There’s a new OSHA regional administrator overseeing worker safety in Pennsylvania and parts of the mid-Atlantic.
Named to the top spot of Region 3 is Michael Rivera, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration announced Dec. 23.
In addition to Pennsylvania, Region 3 covers Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
Rivera has been with OSHA for 28 years. Most recently he was serving as the Region 3 deputy administrator since July 2015, and before that he was the Corpus Christi, Texas, area office director.
