OSHA Proposes Construction Worker Safety Clothing Fit Mandate

Construction contractors and other building trades employers would have to provide their workers with protective equipment that properly fits, OSHA said in a proposed rulemaking released Wednesday.

The notice, set to appear in the July 20 edition of the Federal Register, will open a 60-day public comment period on the the proposed standard. The agency hasn’t set a timeline for issuing a final rule.
