OSHA Health-Care Worker Covid Rule Sent for White House Review

The permanent version of OSHA’s rule to protect health-care workers from Covid-19 is at the White House budget office for review.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration rule is expected to cover health-care facilities such as hospitals and nursing homes where people with Covid-19 are likely to receive care.

The text of the regulation sent late Wednesday to the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs hasn’t been released.
