OSHA ‘Customer’ Shifts to Overseer as Safety Agency Fills Posts

OSHA is taking steps to fill senior career-service staff positions with permanent regional directors instead of relying on acting administrators to oversee field operations.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration this month filled three regional administrator posts—in two cases selecting OSHA veterans and also hiring a former U.S. Navy safety official to oversee efforts across the Rocky Mountain states and the Dakotas.
