New Jersey Roofer Faces $127K Fine Over Fall Risks

A New Jersey roofing and construction company faces $127,436 in proposed penalties after federal safety regulators allege it repeatedly ignored safety warnings and exposed workers to fall risks.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration cited GMG Brito Contractors LLC for multiple safety violations at a construction site in Lakewood, N.J., the agency said July 24.
