A workplace safety rule may ease the compliance burden of Minnesota companies subject to the state’s general industry and construction standards.
The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration made final a rule entering into force Sept. 19 that adopts by reference a federal OSHA final rule revising the fall protection rules for most industries, including restaurants, stores, manufacturers, and warehouses. The federal rule went into effect Jan. 17.
